AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF WHAT IS GOOD WITH THE WORLD!

On the…DAY John Wayne died, the radio announced his death as a group of sculptors at the

OTIS ART INSTITUTE

Formed the usual circle around a particularly beautiful nude model,  there was no sound to be heard

Except the radio in the background

When I heard Professor Martinek say, Oh no!

A gloom filled the room, all the scuptors stopped,  no one said a word. and

 

 

SUDDENLY…the shapely model disappeared somehow from my sculpture table…

AND OUT OF THE BLUE

JOHN WAYNE……….SCARF……….HAT……………ET AL

 

Appeared and formed a clay man……….amidst a circle of beautiful nude sculptures……….

of the model who posed on that day!

 

OTHER ARTISTS CAME OVER TO LOOK………………..IT WAS SORT OF SHOCKING,

ONE SAID: “you sure knew what he looked like!”

And all I could say was………. YES……………”DIDN’T YOU KNOW WHAT HE LOOKED LIKE TOO?”

That was the origin of this particular piece of artwork!
